One of the things we were worried about the most before buying our Prius V was whether it was going to be easy to get in and out of the driver’s seat. Our previous experiences with “smaller cars” was that we had to twist and turn then push up (or down) on our left knee to enter or exit. While getting in and out of the Prius V is not like one you experience with a Van or large SUV, it is surprisingly easy. I can’t tell you the exact height of the seat to the floor ( should probably measure that and post it here…) but it works very well. Basically, it is not an issue. There is no well, no obstruction for your feet to bang on when entering or existing and you don’t drop down to meet the seat.
We test drove a Camry, Subaru and other cars. The Camry was a no-go from that perspective. So this was definitely one other item that pushed us over to the Prius V side.
So far, almost 60 days and no issues. I do have a small list of wishes for future Prius V’s, but I am sure it revolves around wishing I could basically have a Ford Expedition and get 100MPG and pay $10 to fill up its tank.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading Prius V fan or interested party!
